I help couples to realize that the conflicts that they are having with their partners are in fact a protest for greater connection with each other.

In my work with couples I utilize a practice known as EFT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy) which is proven to help 90% of couples feel better, and 75% stay better after two years. The method is so effective because it helps couples to understand their more primary emotions and longings within their relationship, and how those get lost in translation during conflict and arguments with their loved ones.

I strongly believe that we as humans benefit from positive contact with others. That’s why in my practice I specialize in strengthening relationships and building more effective communication. By growing our sense of ourselves and the way we communicate effectively with others, we can then experience a greater sense of connection in our lives.

I originally trained as a Feldenkrais Practitioner. The Feldenkrais Method® is a somatic education modality that evaluates how we as humans learn to move, think, and emote, in ways that become habits in the way we are both in our bodies and in how we relate to others.

I hold a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute where I studied in depth how the unconscious influences our decision-making process and relationships with others.

I have trained in Hakomi and its use of mindfulness in helping individuals have a deeper understanding of themselves and their experience through exploring their bodily sensations and emotions in the present moment.

My personal passions are for nature and travel, both of which I love dearly and influence my appreciation for the diversity of life that this world has to offer.

Please reference my education and certifications below. I look forward to speaking with you.
