Fees & Length of Sessions
You will be expected to pay for each session at the time it is held or, if you prefer, you may pay in advance. Please contact us to discuss fees as they vary based on each therapist.
We recommend an initial couples counseling session of 80 minutes. Subsequent sessions are typically 55-60 minutes for couples, but you may choose to continue with 80 minute sessions if you wish.
Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes.
Reduced Fee
Sliding scale services are available as needed and if possible given each therapist’s schedule and commitments. Please inquire.
Payment Methods
Cash, check, HSA or FSA, and credit cards are accepted. Bay Area Couples Collective does not take insurance directly, we do however provide a monthly superbill receipt of services rendered that can be submitted for reimbursement to your insurance carrier.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, you are required to provide 24 hour advance notice. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full session.
Confidentiality
Legal and ethical responsibilities require that private sessions remain confidential. Therefore, no information will be released to another professional or agency without your written consent. Exceptions will be made only if you endanger, or may endanger, yourself or others, and/or in the case of child abuse or elder abuse. In these cases the law requires your therapist to share certain information with specific outside parties.
