Delia Brown (she/her), AMFT
My passion as a therapist is helping individuals and couples build more authentic, connected lives. I believe that relationships are central to what it means to be human — that being truly seen and supported by another person creates the conditions for genuine growth and self-discovery. I am especially drawn to working with couples, accompanying them through the relational patterns that create distance and disconnection, and toward greater intimacy, understanding, and repair.
At the heart of my work with couples is an attachment-focused approach informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Through this lens, we explore the deeper emotional needs and fears that drive the push-and-pull of relationship conflict — and work together to rewrite those patterns so that the longing for connection finds a gentler, more direct expression, and the relationship has more room for all the good stuff to flourish.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades as a professional fine artist and educator — a chapter of my life that cultivated in me a deep appreciation for creative risk-taking, reinvention, and the rewards of looking honestly at oneself. That same spirit informs my broader clinical work: a commitment to helping individuals connect more deeply with themselves, access their emotional lives, and live in greater alignment with who they truly are. I bring a multicultural perspective, warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for the courage it takes to do this kind of work.
